Adrian’s POV
This is a nightmare. I was just trying to be nice as I spoke to Paige. I didn’t stop to consider how Elena would feel. Right now she is mad enough to leave me. I can’t allow her to leave. I can feel the anger radiating off of her family right now. I had promised to love and take care of Elena, and she hasn’t even been here ten minutes and she is ready to leave. This was not the way that I wanted to introduce her to the pack. I just couldn’t allow her to fight someone who had never trained. She might kill her.
