Chapter 20
Elena’s POV
My wolf wakes me up, telling me that we have visitors. I lay on the bench waiting to see if it was Tucker or Maggie that was coming. I heard the now familiar click and I looked over at the door. She was not alone, and I was concerned about that. I saw her holding a candle that she set down on the other side of the door. There was no power in the hidden area, as the hallway was dark behind them. They had just wired lighting for the main part of the cells, as the hidden area was not something that everyone knew about. She headed right over to me, and the large man behind her walked up as well, but at a much slower pace. My ribs aren’t healed, but they are a lot better than they were. I managed to sit up with just a grimace and went over to the bars of my cell to see
