* Prince Vincent * "Get out!" As the the muscles of my jaw flex and the the fire in my eyes burn the wench who stood in front of me wearing nothing but a skimpy pair of bikini, she drop on her knees and sob. Unable to meet my gaze as she twitches her shoulders and open her mouth to speak without looking at me. "I'm so sorry you're majesty please forgive me, I will never come to see you again. I was only convinced by my father to give you comfort since you.." She's unable to finish her sentence when a growl erupted from my throat. "I don't need a she wolf to warm my bed or for whatever purpose! If I wanted a woman, it will not be you. Now go! Get out of my room before I forgot that your father has serve the palace as a good warrior for many years!" I know her being the daughter of one of the Royal pack warriors in the palace. The River family, who's two sons and the father working as a brave warrior under my command. I didn't ask for her name for I am not interested in knowing. I can see her body tremble as she grab the clothes in the floor and run towards the door not caring even if she doesn't have any clothes on aside from the bikini. My anger is enough to make a wolf cower in fear since I have a dominant Alpha blood running through my veins.  Everybody knows that my engagement with my mate was broken the moment she got out of the Langston palace. I gave her that choice, to live a life according to her will or to stay with me, it was to repay the favor she did when she save my life from the poison of my enemy. Ashley Snipes, she must be leaving her life comfortably in the City right now, forgetting the life she is suppose to be sharing with me. I almost regret that decision of letting her go but I honor my word. I let out a harsh breath as the smell of the she wolf still lingers in the air inside the room, I was kind enough to let her in as one of the palace maids without thinking that she would do something out of my expectation. I have to talk to her father tomorrow and make everything clear on what happened tonight. I never wanted the warrior wolves to hate me but for the affairs of my heart, even my father could not interfere. This is going to be another cold and lifeless evening for me, as I turned off all the lights in my room and open the windows to let the fresh air in. I lay in my bed to get some sleep. I have to forget about Ashley no matter what, but maybe it is about time that I seek the help of our wizard in the palace to help me erase this painful feeling piercing inside my chest. For anywhere I turn and in everything I do, I could always see her in each direction. Her face is carved in my memory and there's a part of me that is slowly dying and turning cold, the feeling of deep sorrow and distress grows stronger everyday. ****** "Your majesty, I don't make those potions anymore as they can have a very bad side effect for memories that is stored inside someone's brain. It can do more harm than good, you should not use it." His apologetic look had me feeling really disappointed when I asked him about the potion that would make me forget about my mate. Something that will lost the feeling of love and despair in my heart. "Are you certain?" I asked once more before standing up from my seat in resignation. He is the first person I meet today thinking that he could remedy my situation. Maleficus suddenly went still without answering my question and his pupils dilated while standing in front of me, something must have altered his vision. "What's wrong old man? Another vision at this early hour?" I sat back down on the chair while I decided to wait for him to finish whatever it is that he is seeing at the moment. But somehow I am hoping it's not another enemy coming from the other regions, I've had enough of those b****y fights and werewolves war. My father have not sent me on another mission aside from training the young wolves in the pack. But I am sure that I have gained enemies through that battles that I've won, I might end up victorious but we never know the rogues that lurk in the face of the humans while plotting against me. "Someone in prison has escaped your majesty!" "What?! Who?" I jerk forward from the chair when I heard this words came out of his mouth.  "The white wolf you held in prison for almost a year now! The one who caused poison in your blood and the one who will get his revenge towards you in any chance he can get! Beware for his wrath runs deep and will not spare anyone who is close to your heart. He will not stop until his dreadful spirit is satisfied!" "Dammit!" I uttered a series of profanity while I walk fast to the door of his place. I need to get out and take the things necessary in order to catch the devious wolf. "Be very careful your majesty and please the next time you caught him, my advice is not to take him in as a prisoner but to end his life the moment you get a chance. For his thirst to kill a Royal wolf blood is so strong that he will never stop and he will choose to hurt the people you love." My foot halted in front of his door as I stare at the doorknob but in my mind his words have sink in so deep making me worry of the people that connects to me by blood. "I will never give him a chance to breath again the moment I get to hold his neck! And I am not coming back until I do, so please you tell my father about my mission starting today Maleficus, there's no time to waste." "Be careful your majesty, don't let the bad wolf poison you again." Maleficus sigh and nod his head as I open the door to get out and call my warriors through the mind link. Alex just made way to his report confirming the old man's vision. "Your majesty I regret to tell you this but three of our warriors have been killed today. One from the guards inside the dungeons and two from the warriors guarding the boarders." I close my eyes and inhaled sharply. The prisoner has already escaped the perimeters of the palace. How could he killed the warriors guarding outside when he is imprisoned for almost a year with very less food. Where did he get so much strength to exact his escape? "Let Beta Derek handle the family of the warrior wolves who died fighting the enemy today. You and Caleb get ready for the task with me, we will track the prisoner and I will not let him off the hook this time. I swear to my father that I am not coming back until I've destroyed him!" "Yes your majesty!" Alex called for Beta Derek and Caleb through the mind link while I listen and get my own things ready. I wonder where the monster is heading from here, I know that he has no other followers since they are all in jail if not dead. But what about the City? I have not consider an investigation in that part of the world due to personal reasons, and the enemy is from the West how would he gain members of his pack from the City. However, I have to look at this incident in every angle in order to defeat my enemy.
