"My only fear is that you might not be able to fit in with the rest of the crowd," Ellen said as she walked with him toward the car. She knew that questions were going to spring up when they saw Varian out in public with children and she was not ready to be associated with the gossip just yet. Someday in the future, it would have to come out that she was married to Varian and that they had kids together but only if he wanted to but for now, she had to be as careful as she could be. "I will fit right in like a glove," Varian said. "Like a glove?" Ellen asked bursting into laughter, somehow the statement made her laugh. "You could not possibly be serious," she said when his face was trying to decipher the reason why she was so cracked and almost doubling over. "You find this funny?"
