"Hello?" Varian's voice rang on the other side of the line.
Ellen was determined to call him and find out what her sister was tapping about but now that he had answered she did not know what to say.
"Hello?" Varian said again with an underlying happy tone. Elise's plan seemed to be working seeing that she was calling so early. Knowing Ellen a bit he thought she would wait at least tomorrow morning before calling but now she had beaten his expectation and he was glad.
