Ellen walked into the room and sat by her kid's bed. They were already fast asleep after tiring themselves out from all the playing they did. She patted their head gently as she looked at them with so much compassion.
"My babies, I am doing my best for you," she said gently before planting a kiss on each of their heads.
Alicia stirred in her sleep and she prayed that the girl would not wake up because it would be a tug of war to get her back to bed.
