I had gone back and forth about calling Rowan all afternoon, now that his phone was ringing on the other end, I was wishing I had given it a little more thought. He still made me a little nervous, not because he was ever mean or rude to me, I was the newest vampire on the block, other than Dylan which was not the same thing.
“Hello young man!” His voice boomed through the phone; my relief was instant.
“Hey man! How’s things?”
“Things are wonderful! I’m just hanging out waiting for Dylan to get home, she’s out running errands for tonight. Are you still coming?”

“Yup” he said.
