Dylan and I rushed past Danny and Boom, not that I thought they gave a damn if we saw them, but still. We ran right into Lucky and Scarlett outside the office door.
“Oh, they’re you two are, we were on our way to find you.” I said to them. I needed to talk to Lucky without Scarlett around, I double squeezed Dylan’s hand, I knew she’d know what I was saying, it really was beautiful how in sync we were with each other.
“Where’s your drink?” Dylan cheerfully asked Scarlett. “Geez Lucky, what’s a girl gotta do to get a drink around here?”
“I grabbed her a whole bottle of wine! It’s at our table” he told Dylan.
