Ember (POV)
"I'll have to reschedule. I can't leave Ember right now. Once her wolf is unbinded she can come with me." Xavier said, looking at me with worried eyes.
I was still wrapping my head around Sasha being my godmother, and now I was finding out that not only did Xavier have to leave, but so did Sam and Seth. I had never been away from Seth. What about our bond? How was being away from them going to affect me? I didn't like this at all.
"Xavier, don't be ridiculous. You can't reschedule. If you don't renew your Alpha license you will be forced to step down. We can't have that happen. And Sam needs to take his warrior test and Seth needs to renew his Beta license as well. We can't just push everything off. Don't worry, I think I have it figured out."
