"No, wait please!" One of the men yelled. "Some of us are not part of his pack."
"Then why are you here?" Ember turned to him and asked.
"We were commanded to come here by King Dominick," the man said.
"Why did Dominick send you here?"
"He only told us that Dimitri's pack needed help. He sent us here to help with border patrol. He said that he had reason to believe that Dimitri's pack would be under attack. We were sent here to help." The man said.
"Who are you? What are you to Dominick?" Ember asked
"We are palace warriors. We were traveling with King Dominick when he got the call the palace was being attacked. He went back to the palace and sent some of us here."
