Xavier's chair flew across the kitchen, and he had Sam up against the wall before my brain had a chance to process what was going on.
" How dare you put your hands on my mate," Xavier said in Sam's face. I could feel his Alpha. "You will never touch her again. Do you understand?" Xavier said, now balling his fists and using his alpha command.
"She may be your mate, but she is not yours to control. She wants me here, and she likes my hands all over her."
