Rex (POV)
We pulled up to Jameson's pack house. Jeremy came running out. He ran right to Victor as soon as he got out of the SUV. He started talking to him in hushed tones. I was trying to make out what he was saying, but I couldn't understand a single word of it. It was like he was talking in a different language. Did vampires have a different language? I would have to ask Victor about that later.
Xavier got out of the SUV and headed for the house. Luna Sara came out and rushed over to Xavier when she saw Ember in his arms.
"What happened?" She asked, panicked.
"Nothing. She is fine. Just tired." Xavier said.
Sara just nodded her head at him. "Take her to her room. I'll be up shortly." She said, opening the door for him.
I could tell she was still worried.
