Stephan stayed with Ember while I went to deal with Natasha. I was pissed that she was acting this way. I knew she was petty, but I didn't realize she would stoop this low as to destroy Ember's day. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Now I wish I had stood up to my dad all those years ago when he pushed her on me.
I know the only reason Natasha wanted anything to do with me was because I was the king. The first night we spent time together she told me so. She also told me she didn't care how many girlfriends I had as long as she was queen. I should have walked away then. But there was a lot of pressure on me to have a mate by my side. I gave into the pressure, and now I have to deal with the consequences. I wouldn't care if they were not affecting Ember.
