Ember (POV)
Jess and Nina arrived shortly after Sam left to get ready. Now that the girls were here, Xavier was going to head down to his room with Conner and Sawyer to get ready. Sam was sending a guard to watch my room while they were gone. I still didn't understand why I needed a guard. I was in my room. In the pack house. I was safe. As much as it annoyed me, I was not going to let it ruin my mood.
As soon as I opened the door, Jess was jumping up and down, clapping her hands.
"I'm so glad you decided to come out with us tonight. It's going to be so much fun." She said, still standing outside the door. I smiled and joined her excitement.
