After Jameson and Xavier gave the announcement that Ember was the future queen, and she would hold court in Jameson's pack, the room exploded. Conversation went wild. Some people were excited while others seemed upset.
"Quite!" Jameson yelled. The room fell silent.
"Now I know for some of you this may come as a shock. So we will have a discussion," Jameson said calmly.
"First, let's take a vote. Please raise your hand if you are alright with becoming members of the royal court," Jameson said.
"This includes my pack as well," Xavier said, looking around the room.
I was shocked when over half the room raised their hands.
"Thank you. You may put your hands down. Please raise your hand if you are not okay with becoming members of the royal guard."
