Chapter 4 It was a couple of weeks after the problem of Caitlin’s stepfather had been solved. Nick was feeling stressed and he knew why. Things had been extremely busy at the agency, with several new clients. Since he was, if not a micromanager, at least a man who had to know exactly what was happening with every account his firm handled, he couldn’t make himself step back. That meant he’d had little time to deal with the normal items which comprised his average workday. By the time he’d get home, all he wanted to do was eat before collapsing with a book until his eyes crossed and he went to bed.
