I was sitting in a chair next to Seb, sipping my coffee, when he awoke. He blinked at the bright sunlight, then winced at what was likely a crick in his neck. As he rubbed it, he noticed the blanket, then turned his head to see me next to him. “You f*****g let me sleep out here all night?” he asked before shoving away the blanket and yawning. “I didn’t ask you to come over. What, you expect me to be sitting here drowning my sorrows over you? Get over yourself.” Though last night might have had a little bit of “tears in my beers” going on. He didn’t need to know that. I drank more coffee, and it was warm and soothing against the slight chill of the morning. “God, you’re a pain in the ass,” he muttered as he stood. “Want to get some breakfast?” “I’ve already had mine, thanks.
