I looked at my hands only to see that they were covered in blood and there was still blood that oozed out of the wound. I took off my hoodie and then my shirt, earning me a wolf whistle from the guy across from me, but I just rolled my eyes and put my hoodie back on. I tore up my shirt and took two pieces and tied it around my hands tightly to stop the bleeding. I did not notice that I was crying until a tear fell on the floor beneath me. “Do not cry princess… if you keep talking to them like that they might kill you soon.” The guy said sarcastically, making me wipe my tears and looking at him. He gave me a genuine smile but I did not return it because I did not feel like smiling right now. “Me crying no way… I do not cry.” I said, making him laugh. “If you say so.” He rolled his eyes at my stubourness. “So dude do you have a name?” I asked. “Oh gorgeous you can call me anything you like. I do prefer handsome, you know, as it suits me. But everyone else just simply calls me Jay.” He said smiling at me smugly. “Nice to meet you Jay.” I smiled at him and he returned it. “So beautiful gonna tell me your name? I mean I love calling you gorgeous, beautiful etc.” he asked. “It’s Skylar.” I told him. “Well Skylar, when we get out of here maybe we can get together.” He said, looking at me slyly. “Yeah sure you see I do not have anything better to do than getting captured by extremely muscular men. It is a curse.” I said sarcastically. “Great.” He smiled like a little child that has been told that they can go to the park. The rest of the night was spent talking about everything but neither of us mentioned why we were in here. I laid down on my back with my hands on my stomach trying not to move them as they hurt A LOT. The only thing I could think of was Armand and if he managed to get away. Darkness slowly overtook me.
I woke up to someone stroking the hair out of my face and instantly shot up, grabbing the hand and twisting it. A scream of pain was heard and I looked at the source, only to see the guy that was next to me was awake. “Damn woman!” he said to me, smiling. What the hell was he smiling at? I almost broke his arm. “That was amazing!” Jay said from across the hall. “What the hell dude?” I asked the man. “Hey I just wanted too see if you were alive.” He said to me. And just then I felt the pain in my hands skyrocket. I groaned in pain and held my hands to my body trying to ease the pain, but failing miserably. “Well, I guess it would be better if I wasn’t.” I said, laying down staring at the ceiling. “Oh do not say that, Sky. We still have a date to go on.” Jay said, making me smile a bit. “Yeah, how could I forget?” I asked, sarcasm laced in my voice. I turned my head to the guy next to me, seeing that he was also only cuffed by his legs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is fully clothed and I guess he has not been to the torture room yet as he does not have any scars. He looked around 18 or 19. He had that whole bad boy look going on which used to attract me like a moth drawn to a flame, but everybody knows what happens when you touch a flame. “So tell me… what is your name?” I asked, looking at him. “The name is Percy.” He smiled. He has an accent which I can’t quite place. “Cool. I am Skylar.” I said, smiling at him.
He was about to say something when we heard the door open. Oh good this is going to be painful. I waited for them to come open my cell and take me but they walked right past me to the cell next to me. Percy looked terrified. I guess it is his first time doing this. “I did not do anything! Let me go!” he screamed, putting up a big struggle, but it seemed not to faze the men. They dragged him away and I could recognize two of them. They were the ones that brought me back to my cell yesterday. The other two I did not recognize. When they went into the dark room, I could hear him struggling even more. Damn these people! They are making things so much worse for me. First they torture me and now they let me get to know the people and then torture them as well. “He should not have done that.” Jay shakes his head in what seemed to be disappointment. “What?” I asked, confused. “One thing you never do when being held is threaten someone and deny what you have done. Because let’s face it, all of us in here did something to piss these people off.” He said as if it was basic knowledge. “How long have you been here?” I asked him. “Two weeks I guess.” He shrugs. “Do you think they are going to kill him?” I asked in a worried tone. “The last thing you want to do is get attached because sooner or later we are going to be six feet under or chopped up in some dumpster somewhere.” He said as if it is nothing. I never really thought that way about my whole situation because there is only one way out of this and that is in a body bag. I felt a panic attack coming on and I tried to calm down. I am too young to die now. I still want to have children and maybe a dog and a husband or just someone to donate his swimmers so that I can live happily ever after. My breath became shallow and my vision began to blur. I have to stop this. I began to hum some songs but that did not work, so I moved on to something that would work instantly. I pinched one of my wounds to create immense pain and it worked. My heart rate went down and my breathing evened out. I had sweat on my head making my hair stick to my face. “That was intense.” I said, relieved that it was over. “Wow Sky, you had me worried for a moment there.” Jay said, giving me a concerned look. “No need to get attached we are all going to die sooner or later.” I used his own words against him. “Yeah… it is just in the two weeks that I have been here I have not seen a girl in here. It is not like these people to take a girl.” He said, seeming to be deep in thought.
