"Wake up ye blasted wolf!" Boone yelled the next morning and struck the cage with a stick, Blair flew up and roared. "Ah yes! I knew I'd see some aggression! You werewolves are a sly bunch!" The stocky man said laughing with the four with him. Wolfe came running in soon after making Blair calm a little. "Get the drapes men, let's cover her up, Duke! Go to the print and put a message in the newspaper! Spread the word all over Virginia about this wolf!" "On it boss" He said leaving as the rest helped him drag a large woven drape over the cage, as soon as it fully covered Wolfe snuck a peek inside. "You ready?" He asked smiling. "Yes" She smiled back. "You can smile as a wolf?" He whispered. "Wolfe! Come boy leave that thing!" Boone yelled. "Sorry pappa" he said dropping the drape. Blair felt the cage shake as the horses got attached to it, then there was a "Ya!" again and they set off. The sun was up already, Blair squinted as the bright light hit the brown canvas, voices became audible after a few moments until it was a loud babble. "Last night some of ye saw the wolf we have under this drape! But now I ask p*****t to see it! Hundred bucks a head!" She heard Boone yell. "Hundred... Bucks? Ahead?" Blair asked herself, their language still awfully new to her. "Come on! Come on! Pay up! I don't have all day! I know there's some o ye who saw it, and other people also wants to see this thing so make haste!" Boone sounded impatient, when there was finally indication that he's got the money he wanted, the crowd almost picked up, getting louder. "Blair" she heard Wolfe whisper "Give them a show, be as aggressive as you can be ok?" "Uh, ok..." She said, but the people outside heard the growl and they gasped, now the chatter escalated more so, the people wanted to see this. "Behold!" Boone yelled and smacked the cage again with a stick, Blair sagged her ears... 'Seriously?' She gave whipping snarl and banged the cage with her side, the people outside wailed, Blair could hear the women shriek more than the men. Then the drape came off suddenly, she squinted, finding herself looking at the crowd who stood watching her with eyes like saucers. "This is where I put up a show?" She growled and Wolfe nodded smiling secretly. She drew her lips back and licked her exposed fangs, the people gave half a step back, then she gave a piercing roar, banging the cage again making it shake on it's wheels. Some people decided to ditch the idea of watching this wolf and ran like hell. Others cheered at the animal being caged, some just stayed quiet, horrified. "There ey!? Told ye we found the b***h!" Blair tipped an ear "b***h? What does that mean?" "Uh..." Wolfe said not looking at her. 'It's the female equivalent of a dog, but in human terms it's a serious insult to someone with the female gender' Maikah said. "Insult!?" Blair's hair rose on her back. "Uh... Don't break the cage ok..." Wolfe said softly under his breath. Blair looked at Boone, her eyes widened extra and her fangs now exposed so the pink gums sat horridly above them, Boone turned to see those icy eyes, but he grunted and smacked the cage again. "Whatcha lookin at ye smelly rag!?" Blair timed it, as he came in for the smack with the stick she had it through the bars and snapped it with one bite making him bellow falling backwards. This actually had the crowd laughing and gave her an applause. "Yeeee! Take that Boone you old bastard! That's what ye get fe screwen around with her haha!" One out of the crowd yelled. Blair stood in awe watching the people appraise her, it felt good. "Figure something out yet Blair!?" A loud whisper from Wolfe came. "Oh no, not yet!" She said almost forgetting about the plan. She scanned the faces as quick as she can, dammit! One of those who ran off could have been one! No one seemed awfully suspicious, she even 'Hey-hey'd' every one she made eye contact with, but none had a reaction indicating that they understood her. "s**t! What if one if those who ran was one?" Blair asked, the people heard roars and cheered. Wolfe only shrugged not looking at her. "Now! For an extra two hundred bucks! Who wants te feed her!?" Boone yelled holding up a large piece of meat. "Ooh! I get free food here!?" She said happily, the people actually saw her response as a happy dog, her tongue out and ears up. "I would!" Someone said after the crowd didn't really respond. A boy in his late teens came walking out, Wolfe recognized him. "Hey Jeremy, you has some balls on you" Wolfe said laughing. Jeremy approached slowly, digging in his pocket with one hand, and holding his other to the meat, his eyes on the meat, he didn't respond to Wolfe. "Hey Jeremy?" Wolfe asked. Blair watched this boy, this was odd, he almost ate that meat with his eyes. When Boone gave him the meat he pretended to take something out of his pocket but turned and ran away, clenching the meat with both arms. "Hey ye little snitch!" "My food!" Blair roared banging the cage. "Blair! That's him!" Wolfe said sadly. "What?" She asked seeing the boy was as sad as he sounded. "I remember now, he came with me one night, I forgot about the full moon... It makes sense that he is one, if he's still alive that is..." Blair looked at Wolfe who had his sad face looking at the dirt under his shoes. "He? Was a friend of yours?" Blair asked. "Yes, he was my best friend" Wolfe looked up at her, not caring if someone might notice him talking to her "You think you can give him sanity too?" Blair's ears sagged when Maikah gave her the answer. 'It is unfortunate, you cannot give it to him, he is a wolf born from a werewolf, he must be ended...'
