Lycanthrop- Is a human with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. Either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction. However the werewolf as we know it first appeared in ancient & Rome in , poetic & philosophical texts - The Conversation. There are 7 werewolf bloodlines that date back to 1584, the 16th century. These blood lines are considered royalty. It just so happens that my family and i are direct descendants of the blood line Black Water. This blood line ranks #1 out of the 7 bloodlines. Our bloodline directly links us to the Lycan King & Queen. It's said that somewhere down the line, someone from the bloodline will be given their wolf in Lycan form. This will only happen once they find their mate. The person who is blessed with this is the next in line for the throne. The difference between a werewolf & a lycan is simple, a were wolf without any lycan ties is a human who was either bitten or scratched by another werewolf. Given the ability to change into a wolf. A Lycan is a born humanoid wolf. A lycan is also bigger, faster, stronger and smarter then a werewolf. A werewolf is only able to be their wolf or their human selves. Not both, were as a lycan's shift allows the human and wolf to be in control at the same time. However if a lycan & a werewolf mate, and have pups would be considered very powerful hybrids ans are desperately sot after as the ultimate war machine. Now a days the threat to our kind is almost nil. We've kept our wolf form & secrets away from human society for so long. we've now become myths and legends. that has kept my kind safe for hundreds and hundreds of years.
