Chapter 19: Out with the old Neveah My vision blurs, and my head pounds as I slowly come awake. I’m tucking myself back into my comforter when I hear something scraping on the floor. Brow furrowed, I rise from my perch and listen for the sound again. As I listen, I sift my fingers through my hair and recall the events of the night before.
