I hated to admit it, but Jesslyn had me mad that very moment. Putting the blame on me for the death of our child was hard for me to hear come out of her mouth. Pissed off, I decided I needed to go somewhere to calm down. However, that f*****g dog wasn’t going to let me do any of that by myself. As soon as I was ready to get into my car, Lincoln walked up behind me.
“Leaving somebody?” He asked me.
“I was hoping to.” I told him as I got into the car and started it up. “But, since you’re here, you can come with me.”
Lincoln huffed before he walked over to the passenger side of my car and got in. Once he shut the door, I closed mine and rolled the window down, turning my attention to Natalie.
