The Argument

Jesslyn: “Good.” Lucas told him. “Now, I will discuss everything with you, tomorrow. Sounds good?” My eyes darted over to Alias, who was still standing there. “Fine.” Alias said in a low tone. “Now, get the f**k out of my bar. And take your human with you.” Alias turned to me and he extended his hand. I shook my head and got up from the table, then I walked out of the building behind him. The both of us walked past everybody without saying a word to anybody, including each other. What I found out about Alias really angered me, but it mostly made me question him. I could understand why Lucas was mad at Alias. He took someone who was valuable to him.  “Is everything okay?” I heard Adonis ask.  “I’m going to need you to go with the my parents.” Alias told his cousin. “I’ll explain everything once I get back over there.” “What are you going to do?” Adonis asked. Alias sighed and turned his head to get a glimpse at me. When Adonis seen my face, he turned back to Alias and nodded his head. “Okay.” Adonis said. “I’ll be at your house and I’m going to fix the door for you while I’m there.” All of us made it to my car and not long afterwards, everybody left, leaving the two of us behind. I got to his car and I waited for him to unlock the door for me. He didn’t even bother to move. He just stood there, staring at me. “Let’s do this.” Alias said to me. “Do what?” I asked him with a cracked voice. “You know exactly what I’m talking about. You haven’t said s**t to me and on top of that, you are ignoring me. So, what the f**k he say to you to get you worked up and distant from me?” “Why would you think that, Alias?” “Stop playing with me!” I sighed and shook my head at him. “I never understood the s**t you do.” I told him, glancing down at the car.  “Okay, so it’s clear you’re mad because he told you about the girl. So spill it, Jesslyn! Tell me what the f**k you got to say so we can squash it!” “Are you serious, Alias? I’m mad because I was taken from your home! It was like you don’t f*****g care about me at all!” Alias crossed his arms over his chest, staring at me. “I don’t care about you? I didn’t have to bring my ass down here to save some f*****g mortal from a pack of wolves. If I was really back to my old ways, I would’ve let them kill you!” “Then why didn’t you? Huh, Alias. If I’m such a f*****g burden, why didn’t you? Is it because of me carrying your child? Is that it?” Alias glanced down at the ground and I sighed. “Who is this girl he was talking about?” I asked him, already getting a sick feeling in my stomach.  He didn’t say anything. I shook my head and crossed my arms over my chest that time. I was still waiting for him to answer. “Is she the reason you left in a rush?” I asked him as I began to piece things together. “It wasn’t like that.” Alias said. “I just helped her out because she was being abused.” I chuckled, trying to keep the tears from coming. “Your child and I were taken and held hostage while you were over here playing hero to an ex-girl that you were messing around with before me?” “You’re making a big deal out of nothing, Jesslyn.” I was taken back by his words. A big deal over nothing? Alias sighed and unlocked the car door, then his eyes lifted to mines. “Get in the car.” He told me. “I’m not getting in your car until you tell me what the f**k is going on. You’ve been leaving me in the dark for too long. Am I going to be the f*****g target of every one of your enemies? How many more people are you going to piss off?” Alias sighed and walked over to me. He looked angry, but I didn’t care. I moved back as he gotten close. “You’re going to make this difficult, aren’t you?” He asked me. “I won’t budge until you start answering my god damn questions.” I told him. He chuckled and put his hands in his pockets. “You think I have time to be answering your dumb ass questions, Jesslyn? I have to deal with this s**t now, thanks to you!” “Thanks to me?! Are you f*****g kidding me?!” “Yeah, thanks to you! If you weren’t so f*****g weak, maybe we wouldn’t be in this f*****g predicament!” “Oooh, I’m so sorry that I wasn’t born a full blooded fanger, Alias! I’m sorry that I don’t possess the same abilities as you or your family possess!” “You watch your f*****g words!”  His eyes changed to a bloody red color.  “I’m not going to repeat myself after this… Get your ass in the f*****g car.” The bass in his tone sent chills down my spine. He’s never sounded like that during our arguments, so I knew he was angry as ever. But, I was angry too. It seemed like because I was with him, things were never going to change and that’s what I hated. I know he was tired of the enemies as well. s**t, I would be. “Now, Jesslyn.” Alias said, calmer than usual. I sighed and waited as he opened the car door for me. My eyes scanned the area before I got into his vehicle. Alias slammed the door shut, then he walked over to his side to get it. Once he was in, he started the car, then he pulled away from the wolf territory.  “We’re not done, I hope you know that.” I said to him. “We never are, Jesslyn.” Alias said, shaking his head. “You always got to make a f*****g big deal out of every god damn thing.” “Whose fault is that?” The talking ceased as the sound of thunder caught our attention with lightening following right behind it. Then the heavy rain came. “f*****g great.” Alias said. “Just great.”
