Allison's POV. Present I stared at the message for a long moment, my heart pounding. Did I want to talk to him? Did I want to confront the feelings that had resurfaced? I didn't know, but I also couldn't avoid him forever. Taking a deep breath, I replied, "Okay. When and where?" His response was immediate. "Tonight, my place. 8 PM." I hesitated, my finger hovering over the screen. But I knew I had to face him, to face whatever this was between us. "I'll be there," I typed, hitting send before I could change my mind.
