All too soon June’s second breast was empty. “That’s good, honey,” June told her as the milk ran out.
But Nadia didn’t stop sucking. She maintained her latch and kept drawing the n****e into her mouth and releasing it, desperate for some more milk. “Stop, honey, you’re going to hurt me.” June’s voice was firm and insistent but not yet angry. Somehow Nadia managed to let June’s n****e slip from her mouth and she felt a great emptiness that made her wonder if that’s what zombies felt like when they were denied access to fresh human brains. “Good girl,” June complimented and bent her head down to kiss Nadia. She tasted her own milk on the young woman’s lips and recognized the confused expression on her face.
