I was shocked to the point where I am unable to move when I saw Rain’s body fell on the ground lifeless as he lays on his pool of blood as the head of the body guards immediately stood up even when he is wounded just to asked who made that shot. “Who the hell took that shot!?” he yelled while grabbing his shoulder and gritting his teeth in pain. The back up immediately stormed the area where we are as the medical team run through everyone who were injured and placed them all on the stretchers except for the head body guard who slammed his fist on the wall. “What the fxck!? Nobody heard me?! I asked who the fxck took that shot!” he yelled his lungs out as he shook everyone around him. “Please let me treat your wound first.” One of the medical teams said as he walk towards the head body guard cautiously but when the medical personnel was about to check the injury of the head body guard, he mercilessly brushed the medical personnel off and asked again. “Bring me the guy who took that shot!” he yelled as he walk towards Rain’s lifeless body lying on the ground with a really disappointed and unbearable frustration on his face. While I was standing there, shaking in fear. I saw the expression on the head body guard’s face like he was sorry for what happened. I walk towards Rain’s body with my trembling legs as I fell on my feet after getting close to his body, the body of the person who taught me how to improve my ability and saved our lives from inevitable death. ‘How will I explain this to the others?’ I thought to myself when someone from the medical team asked if I was okay. “Are you okay miss? Are you hurt anywhere?” she asked with a concerned tone. Even though I have no injuries on my body but the thing is, my mind might be the only thing that was damaged. The head of the body guards caress his forehead as asked me for forgiveness when all of the sudden, the person who was speculated to have taken the shot was brought in front of the body guard head.                “Were you the one who took the shot?” the body guard head asked nicely while trying to hold back his anger and beat the crap at the poor guy who is bathing his own sweat as of the moment. ‘I knew something was wrong the moment I heard the head body guard yelled on the phone, did this guy mistakenly killed a person? But what is this person doing here of all places?’ I thought to myself as I hold the sniper’s shoulder firmly. “Y-yes” he answered hesitantly. Well, I can’t blame him. If I see the body guard head ready to lash at me any moment I would have reacted the same. The body guard head buried his face under his palm after seeing the person who made the shot and glared. “Do you know what you have done? Do you know who that person was?” he asked with a calm tone but why do I feel like the body guard head is about to bash this guy’s head in? The poor guy just shook his head fearfully and is even on the verge of tears. “That young man saved our lives including the young miss’s and you just killed him without even knowing that fact. Who the hell permitted you to use a high caliber gun when you do not even know whose who?” the body guard head said with a frustrated expression and shakes his head in disbelief as he sat on the ground not knowing what to do. “How the hell can we compensate him just for the fact that he saved the young miss’s life?!” he shouted as he throws his fist on the ground.                ‘Eh?’ I froze immediately after hearing that the person I shot was the savior of only not the young miss’s life but also of everyone injured here. My heart feels like it is about to burst in fear as I felt my body getting colder and colder that my consciousness is even struggling to keep me from fainting from the fact that I heard from the body guard head. Everyone who was not present when he carried out his heroic deeds also froze like I did. I can even hear the others whispering in my back even with all this pressure creeping unto me as I slowly succumb to despair. “I can’t believe that that young man is able to do what the body guards failed to do.” “Yeah, and to die just like that without doing anything wrong.” Another one added as I feel even guiltier of the thing that I did. When all of us are contemplating of our lacking in terms of the young miss’s safety, in this time where everyone of us felt the heaviness of the atmosphere and the weight of the sin that I have done, something unimaginable happened no- something that should have not happened took place in front of me. The person I shot dead and bore a hole in his chest took a deep breath as the hole in his chest regenerated in an instant that I can even see the cloud of cold air leaving his mouth.                *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!* *BUDUMP!*                ‘Arg- I let my guard down. I never thought that I would get shot to death and what’s worst is that Hannah is here as well.’ My consciousness reattached after a few minutes of laying on the ground on my own pool of blood. I opened my eyes and turned around and saw many people looking at me with widened eyes and terrified expression like they have seen a ghost while the guard that was with Hannah is standing right beside me and Hannah herself. I can only imagine the chill and goosebumps on their bodies the moment they laid their eyes on someone who is supposed to be dead. “Ninety caliber sniper rifle.” I muttered as soon as I lift my back on my pool of blood. Hannah and the head body guard turned their head towards me with the same expression written on their faces, terrified.                The moment I heard Rain’s voice I immediately turned my head and saw him sitting on the ground where he was shot with an extremely fine condition, no injuries, there was not even a sign or scar that a bullet went through his chest and bore a hole. It almost felt like he had something like an ultra-fast regenerative ability but even with something like that- there is no way a person could survive that with his heart torn apart from his chest but regardless of what really happened I threw myself in his arms and embraced him tightly. “Rain, are you okay?” I asked as tears flood my eyes as I buried my face on his chest. I felt his hand pat my head gently as if telling me not to worry about him. The head of the body guards then walked slowly towards me with the same terrified but yet grateful expression. “Thank goodness you are alive young man. I thought you were gone for real.” He said with tears nesting on his eyes. With everyone still confused of what is really happening, one of them shouted. “That’s impossible, there is no way that you survived that. We saw the huge hole in your chest and before coming here, enormous lightning radiated on the sky, we were all able to see that and if you are the person who managed to save the young miss’s life then there is no way that you possess something like regenerative abilities.” One of them sounded convinced that Rain should have just died.                I’m sure everyone felt the same as well as the head of the body guards and Hannah but were hesitant to say that to my face since they think they owe me big time for saving their lives. I was about to retort when all of the sudden, an unknown group of people entered the scene led by the person I am quite familiar with. “It is possible. It’s just that you are not open minded about the things that might and could have happened.” Kadmus said with an arrogant tone. The body guards were alarmed about their sudden appearance and pointed their weapons to the party that just arrived when all of the sudden the envoy of Mr. () entered the scene. “I suggest you all stop this before something bad happens. I have come here as per the order of Mr. (), he stated that the Reese family should calm down and think wisely before they act.” The envoy said as he read the contents of the papers.                Everyone seemed to have calm down after the envoy finished reading the letter from Mr. () ‘To think that Mr. () has this much influence of the other families. With a single letter he is able to extinguish the pressure on the situation.’ I thought to myself and saw Hannah Reese staring at me. I waved my hand and smiled. “Nice to meet you again Ms. Reese.” Rain stood up and cracks his joints like walnuts and inspects if his shirt is still usable and after seeing that it was not even usable anymore he shook his head in dismay. “This was my favorite of them all and to think that it would end up in this state.” He let out a sigh so I handed him a shirt that I prepared beforehand. “Use this, it might not be the same as your favorite but it is better than nothing right?” I said with a smile on my face as he thank me for the shirt.                “Kadmus, we need to leave immediately. I have a very important information that I got just now and I need everyone to know about it.” I said right after I wore the shirt. Kadmus’ eyes turned to the ones behind me which I almost instantly knew who he is looking at right now. I turned my head and saw Hannah looking at me with a look like asking me for an explanation, I stopped walking and faced her. “I will explain everything later, right now there is something that I need to do.” after that I left with Kadmus and the others but before we left, personnel from the Organization round the Reese family personnel up to brief them about the situation.
