The beginning

"We are all going to die! I don't want to die! I don't want to die!"

A voice of a man inside the room keeps yelling hysterically as he constantly bangs the door and walls.

The men outside guarding the room felt the uneasiness and tries their best to mask their discomfort of the current situation they are in.

One of them could not bear to hear the man screaming on the other side any longer and finally opens his mouth.

"Hey man, was he originally like this?" the man said with a nervous tone.

[I know that both of us finds it disturbing but if we keep listening to that guy a little longer, I might also lose my mind as well.] He thought as he forces a smile in his face.

"What do you mean?" his subordinate replied with an uneasy expression.

"I mean, I have not knew him that long but as far as I can remember. He is one of the persons who are calm and collected that I know in the organization, what could have happened for him to be reduced to this?" the man said with a concerned tone.

"I know right? All I have heard from the higher ops is that he went to a very important meeting and a few hours later he returned so broken they he doesn't even resembles himself. Gulp!" the man said in a nervous tone as sweat starts running down his face.

"I was there when the guards on patrol brought him inside the headquarters." the man stops with a disgusted look in his face.

His subordinate sees the expression that he made and felt the atmosphere became even more disturbing than it is earlier.

[He must have seen something really bad enough to make him look really disturbed like that.] the man thought as he felt his skin crawl.

"I know that we are a criminal organization but I have never seen so much blood on someone in the entire time that I have been in the organization, and what's really disturbing is that his hands are disfigured and his face is not recognizable at all. I could not imagine the look in the guards face when they saw him." the man continued with his nasty encounter with his senior as his partner beside him froze in fear after describing what he saw.

All of the sudden them man inside the room bangs the door yet again.

*BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM **BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM!**BAM!*

"We are going to die! Hahahaha!" the man yelled hysterically.

"I can't take it anymore, when will senior Jake will show up?" the other man asks his subordinate with a fearful expression.

"The person in charge earlier said that senior is on his way the moment he heard the news but I don't know why is he taking so long." the other man replied with an uneasy voice.

When all of the sudden the building that they are standing in shook followed by a loud explosion just outside the gate.

Cars went flying over the gates and crashes on to the nearby buildings as the guards on patrol rush to the front gates where the disturbances are happening.

The guards guarding the room immediately went to the nearest window to take a look at what is happening outside.

"Is someone attacking us right now?" the man said aloud.

"Are you crazy? What kind of i***t would try to mess with our organization? We are not some kind of flimsy group you know." the other man denies his assumption.

The man inside the room went dead silent that the guards guarding him outside were afraid that something happened to him.

"He went silent all of the sudden. Is something wrong with him? Should we take a look?" the man suggested.

"I wouldn't dare look at his face right now, he could be right in front of the door staring back at you if you try to peak for all we know." the other man brushes off his idea.

The other man knew that it is a possibility so he reconsiders his plan and decided to leave the man inside alone.

"Hey, I can hear a soft chuckle. Was that you?" The man ask with a curious tone.

"What the hell? Why would I chuckle in a situation like this?" the replied with an annoyed tone.

"Huh? If it wasn't you then who did?" the man said with a confused expression.

All of the sudden their eyes widened when they realized that the only person who is only a few paces next to them is the man inside the room.

Cold sweat run down their faces as they try so hard not to run away like cowards from the room that they are guarding.

"This is getting really creepy, I don't think I will be able to hold out for long." the man said with a pale face.

"C-come on dude, a-are you a man or n-not?" the other man said while trying so hard to keep his manly voice up.

"Wow, what the actual f*ck? Are you really pretending to be brave right now?" the man ask with an annoyed tone.

"What the heck! What am I supposed to do? Cry or something? Should I just run away and scream like a gay, you want that?" The man retort with a nasty tone.

"At least be real or something, we both know that the two of us are scared the living sh*t out of us right now. There is no need for that brave play that you are doing alright!" the other man responds in a similar way.

The noise outside the building immediately vanish as if there was nothing wrong in the first place. The guards find it strange so they walk near the window and want to take a little peak when all of the sudden they heard a loud bang that came from the room they are guarding which almost immediately caught their attention.

*BANG!*

Let me out! I dont want to die! the man cried as he continuously slams the door after a few moments of silent earlier.

*BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

This made the two guards get spook even more when the man stayed silent a few moments ago came back slamming something on the door even louder.

One of the guard turns his head to the window and sees that most of the buildings and cars outside are catching fire and was about to tell his acquaintance what he saw when out of nowhere a man outside the gate step in to the light of the lamp showing himself.

Hey, man. I think there is someone trying to come here-!

His cry is immediately interrupted when a car crashed on the building that they are currently in. The car landed on the same floor just a little further away from the guards.

*BUUGS!*

*SSSSSSHK!*

Glasses and cement scattered around the area where the car crashed leaving the two guards speechless and motionless.

What the hell?- the guard mutters as soon as he recognize the car that belongs to their senior that is supposed to be coming here for his brother.

Isnt that seniors car? How the hell did that crash here?! This is the 8th floor! the other one exclaims after realizing that the car is own by their senior.

The guards are consumer in fear and confusion as time continues to move, the man inside the room also remained silent right after the car crashed on the 8th floor.

*Creak!*

*KUCHUK!*

The door from the drivers seat opens surprising both of the guards that there is still someone who survived inside a car in that horrible state, they both move their eyes trying to see who is the one opening the door.

Cold sweat run down their cheeks as they patiently wait to see the man get off of the car as the fear in their hearts started to cloud their minds.

*THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!*

Both of them can hear each others heartbeat as they stood frozen in their place after seeing the familiar face of the person who got out of the car.

Senior? one of the guards mumble in surprise.

After realizing that the person who got out of the car is actually their senior, both of them immediately ran towards him leaving their post in a heartbeat.

Senior, what happened? You look like a mess. One of the guards said with a nervous tone after seeing up close the condition of their seniors body. I was on my way back from a meeting when we were attacked out of nowhere. Arg! he said then he grips his arm in pain as he looks at his juniors pale expressions. Where are the higher ups? I need to tell them that someone is after our heads. He added.

The guards were horrified of his state that their mind went blank for a moment before they can answer his question.

Cole, please call on the medical team, senior is gravely injured right now and needs urgent medical attention. One of them ask the other guard as he leans down to take a look at their seniors condition. The higher ups are at the headquarters right now waiting for your report but before that we need to have you treated first. He added.

There is no need for medication right now, our lives are on steak here. Arg! Fvck! he said as he groan in pain trying to stand up with his trembling limbs. We cant waste any more time idling here, that man can come here any minute now! the senior said as he grit his teeth in pain.[ Damn this! Fvck! Hes just a high schooler so how is he much stronger than us adults?! Even his ability doesnt make sense at all! To be on this state just because of some kid is humiliating but my survival instincts is telling me that I need to warn the higher ups first.] he told himself as he pulls himself up.

Please, stay still senior. Your brother is on that room. The guard said as he points to the room that they are guarding.

Huh? Robert? He is there? What happened to him?! their senior asked frantically right after knowing that his brother is inside the room and tries his hardest to walk properly to the room.

We do not know what actually happened senior, but his condition is even worse than yours. All we know is that he arrived here in such a state when the guards saw him wandering outside. He explain as he aids his senior to walk properly. “Cole, please go and tell the medical team immediately. The other said repeated as the other one nods his head and was about to leave when the man inside the room mutter in a completely cold voice. He is here.

*KLANK!*

And out of nowhere, a hard material slams and stick on the wall of the room where the man was in followed by a bellowing howl of pain from the man inside the room. AAAARRRG! I dont want it anymore! Kill me! Kill me!

The three of them froze in horror after hearing the agonizing cry from the man inside the door. The guards started to tremble in fear and horror as they imagine the struggle of the man inside the room.

What happened Robert!? Im coming! their senior yelled as soon as he manage to snap back to his senses.

*THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!* *THUMP!*

Right after coming back to his senses, he limply walk across the hallway and left his frozen juniors behind.

[This damned legs trying to slow me down even further!] he thought to himself as he grit his teeth in anger.

He was already half way when all of the sudden, he felt a presence behind him, and as he turned back. He eyes, scream in horror as he froze in his place and fell on his knees. His juniors reacted a bit slower and turn their heads to the hole in the wall created by the car crashing on it and saw a young man, probably on his adolescence wearing a dark blue outfit.

*TUP!*

*Lands*

What are you doing here?! the senior exclaims as he tries everything to get away from the young man standing on the edge of the floor.

The guards felt the terror on their seniors voice and immediately puts their guard up and grabs their pistols and point them to the young man.

Who are you?! What are you doing here?! one of the guards yells as soon as he grabs his pistol from his waist.

But the young man did not let out a single word and just stares at them indifferently.

[Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead! Were dead!] the thoughts of his death repeated in his head as he unconsciously pee his pants.

The one of the guards took a glance at their senior and saw his horrified face filled with fear for the person in front of him and wants to pull the trigger when suddenly their weapons flew towards the young man, who caught it with his hand.

Both of the guards were surprised about what happened that they even felt their heart skipped a beat. The young mans expression did not change as he grips the pistols tightly as it started to melt in his hands.

*SHHHHK!* *SHHHHK!*

*KLANK!*

Their firearms were no longer resembling a weapon but a blob of molten metal as it fell on the floor.

Acting on his instincts, the other guard immediately started to use his ability as the young man points his finger and almost immediately, lightning came out of his fingertip and struck the guard in his chest blowing everything behind him off, the car as well as half of the entire 8th floor down to the ground.

*KSSSHK!* *KABOOM!* BUUUGS*!*

Blood spurt out of his mouth the instant the lightning hits him as he fell on the ground lifeless with a small hole in his chest where his heart used to rest. The other guard froze in complete terror as turns his head to his subordinates lifeless body and sees the pool of blood flowing to his shoes immediately falling into despair.

[What is this kid?! He instantly killed Cole without any effort! He- he is a monster! How can there be someone as powerful as him?! It doesnt make any sense at all!] the last of the guard thought as he fell on his knees devoid of any hope that he will leave the place alive after seeing what happened to his subordinate in just a matter of seconds.

With his clattering teeth and trembling body, he lifts his head and saw the young man staring at him without any change of expression.

[Even after killing a man, he still did not show any change in expression. He is truly a monster after all.] his eyes focused on the young mans indifferent expression when suddenly his field of vision rotated and sees his headless body fell on the ground.

*SPLAT!*

*THUD!*

The senior was all that is left as he struggles to get away from the young man, kicking his disabled legs just to have a little distance between them even though he already had his back on a wall.

Dont come near me! I tell you! Dont come near me! he yells as the young man stops in front of him.

Tears started breaking from his eyes as he continues his futile struggle.

You want to kill me as well? Kill me if you can! The higher ups will hear of this and they will hunt you down to the ends of the earth! You hear me?! he tried to threaten the young man who decided to squat and stares coldly at him.

They will avenge me- By higher ups you mean them? the seniors stop in shock when the young man showed him the necklaces that shows the levels of power of each higher echelon officers bathed in blood. The senior shook in fear after seeing the last hope that he was using to threaten the young man had already gone to the other side ahead of him.

If you want to threaten me, then at the very least use something that is more convincing, otherwise you will just humiliate yourself. The young man said with a cold tone as he stands up and walks away from the senior.

[Is he going to let me go? Is he not going to kill me as well?] the senior thought as he saw the young man jump off the building then he sigh in relief.

*TUUP!*

The young man lands at the gates that were wrecked by his actions earlier and whispers to himself.

You think I will let vermin like you to live? Well, think again. The young man thought as he extends both of his arms to the building that he had left.

The senior saw the sky getting brighter and realizes that he was not spared at all. NOOOOOOOOOO! he shouted as a huge thunder struck the entire building then in collapse like a sand castle burying everything on its path to ruins.

*KSSSSSHK!* *BOOOM!*

After seeing the building collapse the young man left through the gates where three shadowy figures were waiting for him.

Is this the right thing to do? a female voice ask right after the young man stops in front of them.

This is not the right thing to do, this is the only way that would make those bastards pay for what they have done. But this is only the beginning of it.
