Many of their fake dates had involved walking around the Red Valley township together, to expose their relationship to the pack, but even their first time wasn’t as awkward as the walk they were taking now. Back then, Damon had been against the agreement, only going along with it because the council proposed it as an ultimatum. Either agree or they’ll advocate for Julien to be the Alpha. The only choice he got was which woman they would attempt to convince to go along with the crazy plan. He could lie to himself and say he chose Felicity because she had her own business and was a strong woman. He couldn’t see her agreeing to something so restrictive. The truth was he chose her because he was drawn to her.
