The world felt like it was standing still as Abraham reached down placing a kiss on her fingertips. She stood there basking in the love she was feeling as the crowd watched in stunned silence. He didn't care about protocol or manners in that moment. He only cared about the beautiful person before him. his mate. "Come my Queen, lets introduce you to your kingdom." His smile never faded and his eyes fell on the crowd. Everyone as watching them both as he cleared his throat before starting his speech. "As many of you have now guessed, I have indeed found my mate. My other half of my soul. She is bright and beautiful and everything I could have ever asked for in this lifetime. There is no one I would rather be here with than her. " The crowd went crazy as the kingdom hollored with joy. A Queen brought great strength to a kingdom and their King and this was a joyous occassion for everyone. Abraham waited for the crowd to die down before he began again. " We have accpeted each other as fated mates and couldn't be happier. She has much to learn about Earth since she comes from Ithica. I feel like she has adjusted well since her short time here. Princess Alana comes from the Sirens so she does have some understanding of customs and traditions and I for one am happy that with this pairing from the Moon Goddess we can learn from each other and thus become a stronger more solidified kingdom." There was loud gasps as every one took in what she was. Sirens were rare on the surface and even more sore on Earth. Very little was known about them and people feared what they did not know. Fear was a crippling problem and Alana wasn't sure how they were going to recieve her. She waited patiently holding on to Abrahams hand for support. Her throat grew dry and she felt panic creeping into her chest. Her heart was beating faster sending a deafening sound to her ears. It was starting to drown out the loud gasps before her from the crowd. Everything was starting to fade away. She felt his touch right above her ear and could hear his voice breaking through her walls she was slowly building. "Relax Kitten. They are loving you. Open your eyes." Alana slowly opened her eyes fearful of what she would see. When they opened fully she looked out on the crowd and saw the faces of everyone swatching her, smiles plastered to their faces. Joy started to replace her crippling fear that had threatened to consume her. She took in a deep breath and released it letting go of everything she was holding onto. "Without further delay, it is my greatest honor to present to you, my mate and your Queen, Queen Alana."
Alana watched as the crowd roared and howls were sent up into the beautiful sky above. A small breeze began to blow cooling th eheat from the mid day sun. She was led to the front of the podium and she instinctevily waved to the people chanting and howling for her. It was overwhelming in a a delightfully good way. They didn't hate her. They didn't fear her. They were accepting her and their mate bond without even asking a single question. The crowd started to calm down and Alana stood there waiting for their silence. She stepped up to the microphone and swallowed hard, praying her voice would not fail her in this moment. "Sorry I am so nervous right now. This is all so new to me." She cleared her throat and then began talking again to the silenced crowd before her."I want to thank you all for accpeting me as your Queen. I promise to do what I can for you and this kingdom. I am honored and humbled by your generosity. Thank you so much and I look foward to getting to know you and your families." She stepped back as Abraham stood taller, puffing his chest out showing his pride. He was proud of her and had his eyes fixed on hers. THe crowd went crazy once more as he smiled waiting for them to calm once more.
"Well, I say we should start the celebration with your King and Queen! The ball room is open." Alana and Abraham were whisked off the podium and ushered back to the palace as the crowd cheered adn filed out of the garden. Alana knew it was going to be a long night of celebration and she was excited for her future for the first ime. She was allowing herself to feel and think and be happy. It was something she hadn't given herself before. It was a future she never thought possible. Once inside Alana was tugged into an embrace by a beautiful woman.
She had no idea who she was but she looked over at Abraham and knew instantly they looked alike this must have been his mother. "Oh my Goddess you are absolutely stunning! My name is Abby and I could not have picked a better mate for my Abe. Welcome to the family my dear. I have heard so much about you!!" She pulled back gesturing towards the man standing beside them. There was no doubt his face was the face of Abraham. "This my duaghter is David. Abes father. We have been waiting to meet you! Come lets make our entrance into the grand ball room. The people await their new Queen."
Alana was whisked towards the door unable to say a word before being ushered into the room. She felt Abraham snake his fingers in hers holding her and giving her his strength. She could feel his price and love for her through their bond. She could feel it growing stronger each day. Some days it had become harder for her to decipher her emotions from his. She knew the stronger their bond the stronger they could rule together. A strong bond was imprenitrable. They were completely unbreakable. She took solice in it and let it wash over her like a warm blanket on a cold day. His love wrapped her in the wamrth she needed and she prayed she did the same for him. Making their way inside to the middle of the room Abraham twirled her and then embraced her in ihis arms. "Are you ready for our first dance my Queen?"
"Hopefully I am not too terrible and i miss your feet."
"I wouldn't even care as long as you only dance with me."
She smiled at him and took his hand in hers. "For forever my King."
" I do like the sound of forever when it come to you Kitten. Forever sounds amazing." They danced in each others arms. They were still swaying eyes closed lost in the moment when they heard someone clear their throat. They hadn't realized the song had ended. "I guess it is everyone elses turn now. I just got lost in being close to you."
She laughed out loud trying to contain her amusement at the moment. "Same here! I didn't even hear the song stop." They giggle at each other and made their way off the dance floor allowing others to join in. They were joined on the sides by his paretns and sister and brother. Abraham gave hugs to everyone and then looked over at Alana. "Alana this is my parents David and Abby and my brother Liam you already know and of course Zara. This is our family. I am so proud to have you a part of it."
The air was light and full of love as he spoke. "It is so nice to meet you. Zara has told me so much about you both. It is my greatest pleasure to meet you."
"My dear child," His mother took her hands in placed them in her own. Her smile was full of love and adoration and Alana was basking in the feeling of this new found family. "You are our family now and there is no need for any formalities with us. Trust me it is our greatest pleasure to know that someone is there for our eldest son. He has been aiting for his fated mate for so long it was becoming unbearable to see hi navigate life alone. You truly are a blessing for us all and especially for him. Come lets go to the dinning hall and get our seats. Dinner wil be served soon." Alana was starting to realize that her new fa,ily had a lot of energy that she was not used to. Being embraced and welcomed into the family was a good feeling. It was a relief not having to wonder if she was doing the right thing. They just wanted her for who she was no matter who she was. It was a refreshing change for her. She never felt welcomed in her fathers kingdom. She never felt like she was home and here she felt like she had found just that,, A home of her own.
