Lucien Taylor had never felt the emotion that was beginning to develop inside his heart after seeing this girl. That stunning girl was the focus of Lucien Taylor's tender and introspective gaze. Both women bowed after serving their respective roles.
"Enjoy your food." Meesha Kyle parted her thin and pink lips.
Lucien Taylor, however, was unable to hear her voice. Her angelic smile had him entranced. He lowered his head and grinned as they left the room.
Lucien Taylor had vivid memories of that girl. He genuinely admired her approach when she was defending her rights in that hotel and served him food today. She appeared to be a sweet and endearing girl, rather than someone who was so harsh. Meesha Kyle didn't show up to the dining hall for the three hours that the meal and meeting lasted. The manager was giving them one-on-one service.
For once, Lucien Taylor desired to see the woman.
The magic in the air spread as the night became darker and the chilly wind blew. Meesha Kyle left the hotel after changing out of her attire. As she left the hotel, her steps abruptly came to a standstill. She was unsure of where to go. Should she visit her uncle and aunt in their house or that villa?
The chilly wind blew through her silken hair and into her ears. Due to the cold, she hugged her chest. Yet, she was unaffected by the cold and was immobile. Her legs became rigid, as if they were unwilling to move in any direction. She had no desire to visit either the villa or the house. She inhaled deeply.
Meesha Kyle fixed her gaze on the barren ground. She was handed the heels she was wearing by the morning housekeeper. She had never, in her entire life, dared even consider touching those exquisite and priceless heels.
Her heavy chest felt so thick that she had trouble breathing. She abruptly turned to gaze at the two pairs of black shoes that were in front of her. She raised her aching eyes at the man in front of her. He was dressed in a silver-grey suit, and his face was attractive and well-shaped. His eyes sparkled with kindness and concern. He was giving her a small but satisfying smile. His simplicity was reflected in his charming smile and precise eyes. This man could stop the biggest storm with his blond smile.
Meesha Kyle was temporarily unable to comprehend the man's smile and his presence. He appeared to be familiar with her based on the way he was staring at her.
Lucien Taylor observed her frail arms as they encircled her chest. He instantly reached for his silver-grey coat and extended it in her direction. She was unable to understand the motivation for his pity. She first glanced at the coat he was holding before focusing on his face.
"Put it on. Otherwise, you'll get sick." His voice was low and sexy. Her heart was softened by the compassion in his words. Despite swallowing, she did not extend her arm to grab the coat.
"Sorry, I don't remember you. I can't take it." She said in a hoarse voice and was about to turn around when he said it again.
"Will you accept it after recognizing me?"
Meesha Kyle turned her gaze at him. His slight smile was engaging.
"Take it. Then I will introduce myself." Lucien Taylor said in his salacious voice.
Meesha Kyle looked at the man in a panic. Why was this man so gentle to her? She forgot her anxiety and greeted her teeth.
"I've previously told you. I'm not familiar with you. Did you not get it?" She said with a hint of rage. He nodded with his polite smile.
"Do you want me to put this coat on you?" He asked in a hushed voice while squinting. Meesha Kyle sighed and pointed her index finger at his nose. "
"Should I call the cops or will you leave?" She asked angrily. Her lovely eyes sparkled with a hint of mild rage.
"Miss Kyle, I had no idea that you enjoyed acting in this way towards those that help you. But, it won't bother me if you contact the police." He stated this while scowling. He didn't seem to be afraid of the cops or anyone else, based on his demeanour.
Meesha Kyle was tired of arguing with that man.
"I..."
The hotel manager rushed over and inquired excitedly before she could finish.
"You are here!" The manager gently inquired.
After adjusting his soft look toward the manager, Lucien Taylor smiled and tucked his palms into his pockets. The manager stared in awe at Lucien Taylor before turning to look at Meesha Kyle.
"Is there a problem with the hospitality, Mr Taylor? Although Miss Kyle's duty floor is actually the bottom floor, I had to send her to serve you today because the person in charge of the fifth floor was absent. I'm sorry for the trouble." The manager spoke quickly. He was attempting to explain Lucien Taylor.
Meesha Kyle was taken aback by the manager's actions and fixed her gaze on the dashing man in her line of sight. She misbehaved with a significant hotel guest for the second time. Meesha Kyle resigned from her position after being humiliated by that officer the previous time. But this time, she spoke to the man furiously, and it would have an impact on her current position.
Meesha Kyle swallowed saliva in panic. Lucien Taylor glanced at the terrified woman.
"That trouble was excellent, Mr Hong. Your wife must be waiting for you." He spoke softly before directing his attention to the manager.
Lucien Taylor's kind face caught the manager's attention as he awkwardly laughed.
"Alright, I should leave now. Mr Taylor, thank you." The manager nodded and hesitantly walked away.
Before extending an arm to the girl in front of him, Lucien Taylor gave her a quick glance. Meesha Kyle dropped her eyes and reluctantly took the coat.
"Are you waiting for a cold?" He queried.
Meesha Kyle had never experienced depression on this scale; she put on the coat delicately and raised her eyes to see his angular face. His gaze was contentedly fixed on her.
