Neither did Lucien Taylor move nor respond. He simply remained silent while recognising the repressed feelings on her face. She had already started moving. She held back since she didn't want to tell him because it would be difficult for her. Maybe if her issues would resolve she would tell him.
"Lucien, I hope you will understand." She said in her low voice.
"Yes, I understand. I understand that you will suffer but won't take my help. I understand that you will tolerate everything alone but won't tell me the truth. I understand that you will never understand how I feel when I see you weak and injured."
