“Do you think he can help you?” Wallace derided and floated next to Vaughn as the CEO entered the shrink’s private clinic. The small establishment was located in a three-story building, on the ground floor. The clinic had a receiving area and a private consultation room. The therapist’s secretary showed him to the enclosed room, which was all white, except for the set of brown sofas in the middle. A mahogany desk was on the right side that faced the door, and the therapist was seated in his chocolate brown swivel chair. Vaughn greeted the shrink without minding the sneering specter next to him. “Why would you come to a place like this? You know you’re not crazy. I’m real as I can be.” He heard Wallace speak.
