Chapter 5
“Wow, this is amazing.”
Adam knew he was staring at the bookstore like a child in a candy shop, but he’d been dreaming of this set-up for a while. He would have a toy store with the twins living upstairs, while Lance would open a daytime nursery in the building next door. They would all be close to one another throughout the day. For him, it was certainly a win-win situation.
A short while ago, he and Lance had fetched Mike, and they left the twins to play with Megan in the company of Cynthia and Andrew. When they arrived at the bookstore, they’d greeted the present owners, who’d given them a tour of the place, including the storage space and the second floor apartment, both huge in size.
While the storage space would require a small amount of renovation, the apartment needed
