Ava’s POV
Dinner is in half an hour and I haven’t seen Cameron since he walked me back to the packhouse nearly two hours ago.
Lily has everything under control and has left for Caleb’s room to freshen up.
I’m standing in the dining hall debating if it would be crossing some weird line if I went up to Cameron’s room.
I know he is my mate, but he is a king, and I don’t want to make any assumptions…
I see a group of Lycans walk past me into the dining hall towards the outside door.
I make my decision, obviously he isn’t still meeting with his men.
I make my way quickly up the stairs, excitement building at the thought of seeing him again.
When I reach his door, I hesitate. I go to knock, but stop when I hear his voice. I try to listen to see if someone else is in the room, but the
