Samara POV   “Sam! Wake up” my brother Edward said shaking me “Nooo…!” I whined when I felt the blankets come off me. “It’s too early. I can’t be up so early.” I whined “It’s not early Sammie…!” he started to shake me again. I swear I can never find a good rest in this house. “What do you want Ed?” I said annoyed. Well you will have to forgive me I stayed up the whole night enjoying my hunting spree, and beside Edward is an annoying creature ever walk the planet. Do you think that anyone would be in a good mood to be woken up? No? Now you get it do you? He gave me his toothy grin combine with his trying puppy eyes that stopped fooling me the day he told me he saw a pig flying. “What?” I asked him “What do you mean what?” he says still plastered his white toothy grin at me “what’s with the tooth fairy grin dambass?” I asked “Helloooo…It’s your 18th birthday today Sis!!! Gosh what will you do without me?” he touched his chest in a dramatic way. I just rolled my eyes at him and yawned. “Now get up mother and father are waiting for you at the dining table for breakfast” “or should I say birthday celebration for four!” “Ohhh and mother is out doing herself as usual today, but if you ask me today she went extremely overboard with everything and by the looks of it everyone she sent the invitations to RSVP yes, so your ball is going to be the ball of the year and those are your mother’s words not mine.” He said rolling his eyes and standing up from my bed. Suddenly my parents walk in with a cupcake with one candle singing happy birthday.  My parents truly take this birthday thing way too serious and to top it up they never put duty before us especially on our birthdays, they always make sure that they share a moment with us…but if you ask me mom force everyone in this family to do everything and acts like the innocent one. I get out of my thoughts once I hear my mom solo end. “Guys we talked about this come on!” didn’t we agree on not barging in on my room when am in the Zzzz zone?”  “And aren’t I too old for the song now?” I said eyeing my trio   By the look my mom gave me I just know that I signed my death penalty, I just rubbed my eyes and took a deep breath and waited for her lecture. The is no doubt that the woman standing in front of me is the queen of my kingdom because she always talk with so much aura and order people even us her own family. I mentally said ‘long live the queen’ and shook my head and looked at her with sleepy eyes. “Well to answer your first question miss am too old for birthday song, this is my house I enter everywhere without permit if you have a problem with that take it up with your moody self!” “As for the second question it’s a nooo you can never be too old for a birthday song and besides you always sing for us on our birthday” retort my mother Eddie let out a snicker, and said “you just had to poke the bear on this beautifully morning didn’t you?” I mouth sorry to him and seat up. I am truly sleepy, and the lecture made it worse… I looked at my nightstand watch and see that its 6o’clock in the morning. I decided to voice out my thoughts “couldn’t you guys wait until breakfast to do this?” “No we couldn’t, now get up before I pour cold water on your bed” said the queen herself ladies and gentlemen.   My dad gave me a kiss on my forehead and whispered a happy birthday and said “please blow the candle and make a wish before your mother have one of her every year crying episode.”  I just giggled and blow the candle and put the cupcake aside. Just as I was about to get up mom had her yearly episode of sob and said “I can’t believe you finally 18 sweetheart, it seem like yesterday when you were just a tiny little sunshine on my arms…now look at you all grown up and looking all pretty, now you can finally stop playing with your brother and Josh and have real friends, friends as in like young ladies your age.” “I guess those ‘like young ladies my age’ its Charmaine and her minions right mom?” Charmaine is my cousin, who appears on gossip blog and newspapers every single day about this and that. As soon as she drag her name on the mud she comes back to the country and hide for about a month or so, although her hiding is an understatement because even here she still manage to make headlines.   … I was about to walk in my bathroom, just when I heard the bedroom door open and Rumi walked in and said “Happy birthday your highness! I can see you survived the year to year lectures from the queen yet again.” She made a curtsy and started giving the schedule of the day.   Now I met Rumi when I was 11years while I was on my nightshift non-royal activities or as I call it “my hunting spree.” She was running away from home because her father was abusing. Moon and I can stand so many things but child abuse and molesting is a wrong turn for us. I bought her to the castle and gave her shelter when my nanny retired I decide to make Rumi my assistant, because I couldn’t have anyone that will know too much of my evening plans besides my parents. And since well she’s a werewolf too, the position fit well for her. “Thank you Ru. How is everything going on downstairs is everything ready or mom decided to change and go with her other 20th plan?” I asked her and she giggled and says “No, Your Grace, the queen is sticking to her 10th plan.” Mom changed her mind so much about this coming ball theme that I decided that it will be best if I see it on the day of the ball and not take part of the planning at all. “I do think that you are going to love the theme though, well since you gave up on the theme when your mother changed the theme for the 4th time.” She said “Well I will have to take your words for it then. Are our dresses ready? I didn’t hear you say anything about them when you were giving me report.” I said standing up from my bedroom couch. “Ohhh yes, Chris will deliver it just after breakfast. Which reminds me, you are supposed to have breakfast with your parents now at 8:30 am so you have 30 minutes to get ready.” She said that and stood up from her seat and made her way towards the door.   After doing my every morning routine, I walked out of my bathroom and walked to my closet and saw that Maria put my morning outfit next to my dressing vanity, I took off my robe and applied lotion and started to dress my white suit pants with a dusty pink maddies tie blouse, I wore my black 4inch heels and walked out to my room and saw my birthday cupcake still with a candle on it. I took off the candle and lick the cream out of it and devour myself on my cupcake (mmmmh …vanilla my favourite).  … I got to the garden and saw my family already seated on their respected seats, mom always request that we have my birthday breakfast in the garden. I don’t mind because I love the scent of different flowers and the morning breeze fill my nose, I just love how the smell of nature envelope me and make me feel free and home. “Good morning Family. I walked to dad and gave him a kiss on his cheek and moved to mom and do the same and fistbumb Eddie” “Well someone is glowing today and knows how to say ‘good morning’, wow you should turn 18 every day so that you can just grace us with those pearly tooth  huh sis” said Eddie while he gave out a small chuckle. I took my seat next to him and I was about to answer him before mom said “Edward behave yourself and stop making fun of your sister, after all its not every day you get to be 18 and finally get to be legal.” Father laughed out loud and winked at me and said “Shall we say grace and start eating please, or else we will have cold breakfast.” We bowed our heads and dad said grace and after that cutlery and plates went to war, no one said anything until dad broke the silence once we were done with breakfast and said “Pumpkin tonight is the full moon, will you be ok throughout the party?” I cleared my throat and just nodded my head and said “I think I will be ok, I mean I came a long way to control myself and besides Moon really showed throughout this 8 years that she is in control” “That’s true we even stopped disturbing Abraham. And your grandparents about her going rampage.” I laughed at his comment and looked at mom and said “ohhh mom are the Corners’ coming?” The Corners are what I would say my allies, Jakob and I met while I was on one of my nightshift work, and his was out having a run around the woods. I basically learnt everything I needed to know about my species through him and his father former Alpha Abraham Corner of Crescent moon pack. Two months ago when Jakob took the title from his father, he invited me to attend the ceremony so that I can become one with the ancestors ‘his words not mine’ Anyway the two with Jakob’s mom Luna Scarlett and Ava Jakob’s mate who is now the Luna of the pack kept my secret and became our close friends. “mmh-mmm… but only Jakob and Ava will come, Scarlett and Abraham left this morning for  their wedding anniversary.” My mother (Amalia) move back her attention to Sheila her assistant and Rumi  to discuss the final touches of my coming of age ball, while my dad (James) was reading a newspaper and dumbdumb was being himself playing games on his phone. I got a text from Josh wishing me a happy birthday and asked if I could meet him at some location.  I excused myself from the table and walked out of the garden toward the door just when I heard my mother say “NO training or disappearing to God knows where you disappear to every day and night young lady make sure you are at your room before lunch time.” “Yes your majesty” I answered “Ohhh and tell Josh not to wear Denim tonight at the ball or I will personally escort him out” she retorted “Wait, how did you know that I am going to see Josh?” I asked turning to face them “Don’t ask me how; just deliver my command to him!” she ordered “Yes Ma’am” I looked at Eddie and saw that he was still seated and called him and he came running towards me. “So what is the plan now that you 18?” he asked while wearing his blazer “What plan?” I asked raising my eyebrow at him “Well you know the plan… to terminate the man that torment you and gives you nightmares? Are you still going to look for him and avenger Zahara’s death or you let him walk away?” “Ohhh that plan, it’s still on motion, I will have my revenge… I sent few people to search for him but I still need to find the stone he killed Zahara for.” I said while shaking my head, and got in the back of the limousine with Eddie and told my drive Steve to take me to the given address.   From the palace to where the address led us I was just on my own world...
