Jared’s pov.
The room is dark and dingy, I hear the sounds from the room opposite mine. The screams of the person in that room. It happens every night. I hear footsteps and then the door. The murmurs of the doctors, and then the screams. I don’t know what they are doing to whomever is in that room but he is in so much pain.

I am numb.
I don’t know where I am. I don’t know how to get out of here. I have tried but the security is just too tight. They keep me locked in here, they feed me pills which makes me numb to everything.
I made a mistake; I trusted my father. I thought he was going to help me but he didn’t trust me. He believed her over me. He betrayed me.
“Everything is going to be okay” he sounds assuring. I have no choice but to believe him.
