*Flashback 20 years ago*
“Daddy, where’s mommy?” Three year old Austin asks as he comes into the living room.
Stephen was on the couch with a five year old Evan, who was reading a book. “Austin, mommy is hurting, so she is laying down.” Stephen said to his son.
Austin came over closer to his dad and brother and said, “Mommy hurts because of baby sister?”
Stephen patted Evan’s leg and scooted towards the edge of the couch to be closer to Austin. “Yeah buddy. Mommy is really hurting over your baby sister. So we just need to let her rest so she feels better, ok?”
Austin looked at his dad and sighed. Stephen nodded his head and went back to Evan and the book. He was helping Evan read the story.
