After the sponge bath, I needed Kelly to leave. We went from zero to a hundred in a matter of an hour. Yesterday she was taking notes for me at a meeting and today she is giving me a sponge bath.
I never imagined telling her I love her while in a damn cast, lying in a hospital room. I can’t even do anything with her, other than kiss right now.
“How are you feeling?” Kelly asked me.
I smiled at her and said, “Like I got hit by a car.”
“Oh, really? I would have never guessed. Seriously, how are you feeling?” She asked
“Sore, and tired. I don’t know why I’m tired. All I am doing is sleeping.” I told her.
“Probably the meds they are giving you. But your body just had trauma, it’s using all its strength to help get you healed.” Kelly said.
