Austin’s surprise visit was something I wasn’t expecting. Austin knew who little Xavier was with one look, I didn’t have to tell him, yet.
The ride to the airport was painfully quiet. I knew Case Enterprises has its own private plane, so that means me and Austin will be all alone. I don’t know how to explain this to him.
We boarded the plane and sat across from each other in the seats. Austin was looking out the window, still being very quiet.
One the air stewards came up to us asking if she could get us a drink. I politely declined, but Austin wanted a bottle of water.
After the woman gave him his water, it was just me and him. This silence was killing me, this wasn’t Austin.
