Kelly
I’m in Austin’s arms dancing. He is giving me one of his winning smiles as he leads me in a dance on the dance floor. He twirls me, which causes me to laugh. I’m enjoying this moment. It feels like it is just me and Austin and no one else.
“Kelly, can you pass me a roll?” My mother asks me.
“Wha?…oh yeah, here.” I said to her.
I looked across from me to see Austin was eating his steak. I was daydreaming. That dance was all in my head.
I put my fork down and rubbed the corner of my forehead. That kiss Austin gave me earlier has me all confused and messed up now. He and I will have to talk about it later. Clearly it is interrupting everything for me right now.
“You ok?” Austin asked me.
