It felt good to be back home. Little Xavier was thrilled with the remote car, he was playing with it all over the apartment. Then poured when I told him had to put away that it was time for bed.
When I took him over to Betty and John’s this morning he insisted on being his new car to show gramps.
“He is a bit obsessed with that thing.” I told Betty as we watched little Xavier show John the remote for the car.
“I'm surprised you got him that. I know it isn’t a cheap toy.” Betty said.
“Well, um Austin actually bought it. I told him I would and he waved me off.” I told her.
“Austin is ok with knowing the truth? You know John didn’t mean for it to be known like it did.” Betty said.
