Austin has been in the hospital for about four days now. He had a major milestone in that he got to finally see his mother. When I saw him the next morning, he could not wait to tell me about it.
He is finally allowed real food, so this morning, I was bringing him a coffee and pastry. I thought I would surprise him.
I went into his room and put the coffee and pastry on his tray. Austin looked up at me and smiled.
“Oh my you are truly an Angel, you know that?” He said.
“I figured you were missing this and now that you are on real food, why not.” I laughed.
Austin took the cinnamon roll out the wrapper and bit into it.
“Oh yes, you are definitely my sugar mama. Daddy like.” He moaned.
