After I got me and Xavier back to my place, Austin’s texting me that he missed me was on my mind. Xavier ran into our apartment like any four year old would. I walked in behind him, putting my purse on the table.
As I watched Xavier scamper off to his room, I made a decision. I went down to my son’s room. Just like I thought, there he was pulling out one his cars to play with.
“Guess what we are going to do?” I said to my son.
“What mommy?” He said as he tinkered with the toy car.
“We are going to do a sleepover at mommy’s friend's place!” I told him.
“Sweep over?” Xavier asked as he looked up at me from his toy.
“Hmm yep. Sleepovers are fun. You get to sleep in that big bed again. We can watch a movie and eat ice cream.” I told him.
