This has been a day from hell. I spent most of the morning fielding messages from an account that got mishandled by Mr Case.
Austin was in the process of acquiring the company before his accident. Not sure what Mr Case did but the deal was suddenly off and Austin is being called a buffoon by the owner of the company.
Adam came in to see what can be salvaged from a legal standpoint. It is a mess and I know Austin is going to be furious because he worked hard on this acquisition for it to go up in smoke like this.
I got over to Austin’s place with files for him. When I walked in, I knew he knew what was going on by the look on his face.
“Give me the files.” He said. I put my purse down and took the files out to give to Austin.
Part of me is relieved that I don’t have to tell him
