I had no choice today, I had to bring little Xavier with me to the hospital. Last night, after I was done visiting Austin, I went to pick up Xavier from John and Betty’s when they told me some surprising news, John had cancer.
My in-laws have gone through a lot over the last few years. First losing their only son, then Betty had that stroke, and now this.
They were going to be gone a few weeks to get a treatment for John that was promising. I want them to do whatever they could for him, even if it means I need to rearrange my life. I don’t mind, those two have done so much for me.
