It’s been exactly a week since the accident, and I am finally being discharged. My mom was also moved out of the ICU into a cardiac care unit too.
We are both better than we were a week ago, but we still have a ways before we are both 100% better.
My dad came to my room and he brought with him a pair of pants. He claimed Mitzi made these for me to help get me home.
She cut one leg off and on the side the leg was missing , she had Velcro reinforced in the seam at the hip. It was actually a genius idea on how Mitzi made these pants for me and this cast.
My father also had a shirt for me. I was so happy. I can finally wear real clothes. I noticed one thing that seemed to be missing about the clothes.
