Sofie’s POV
I woke early in absolute bliss, wrapped tightly in my mates warm embrace. I slowly turned in his arms to see he was still sleeping. In the rush of yesterday I hadn’t taken the time to truly focus on the changes to my mates features. His cheeks were sunken, his hair untamed, his deep tanned skin now looked dull and worse of all he looked tired. Even while he was asleep, he looked tired. I laid there for a little while just staring at my sweet mate before I couldn’t take it any longer and didn’t have the heart to wake him. I kissed his forehead softly and then popped to my parents.
