My father hadn’t even entered the room when his overwhelming fear hit my heart like a knife, plunging deep into my chest. I closed my eyes taking some deep breaths to steady myself and when I opened them I was surprised to see my fathers calm and resolute face as he greeted his Alpha. If I hadn’t felt it myself I would never have believed he felt anything but confidence right now. I turned to Alpha Ryder, concentrating on his feelings....
