I felt no happiness as my brothers complimented my developing skills, unable to distract my mind from the events of today that were slowly yet quickly creeping closer. I thanked my brothers for their kindness before excusing myself from training for a run, hopeful my tranquil clearing would offer me some solace. I linked Zander where I was headed, shifting behind a nearby tree before I took off at full pelt. Zala howled in delight as we waved our way through the trees but not even a run was helping clear my head today.
