“You! How dare you?” Iris asked in vexation.
“I knew you’ll love seeing me.” Evelyn laughed as she squatted near her.
Iris looked at her with disdain. “What do you want?”
“What I want?” Evelyn tapped her chin as if thinking about it and then exclaiming loudly.
“What I want is you gone!” Evelyn glowered at her.
Iris wasn’t scared of her now but the look on her face sent chills over her body. She looked insane and ready to kill.
“Why do you hate me?” She asked to which Evelyn smiled as if it was the most amusing thing in the world.
“Are you blind? You can’t see what you’re doing? You think you’ll take Aiden from me and Derek and I wouldn’t even do a s**t about it?” Evelyn glared at her as she grabbed her neck.
“I murdered Iris, my own sister for him and who the f**k you think you are?” She asked tightening her hold on her throat.
“You think you could easily escape me when I threatened to stay the f**k away from them?” She still tightened her hold and Iris gagged with the lack of oxygen.
She kicked aimlessly trying hard to break free. Evelyn threw her away with a bored expression as Iris’ head hit with the floor. She winced in pain and gasped for air. Her lungs nearly collapsed without oxygen.
“Relax! I won’t kill you just like that. I need to amend few things first.” Evelyn’s eyes gleamed with happiness.
Iris managed to sit again as she supported herself near a wall panting heavily. Tears ran down her cheeks due to the near-death experience.
“You could prove to be useful for me. Isn't that prestigious for you? Considering that I am giving you this chance to prove worthy.” Evelyn chuckled looking at her.
“You’ll help me get the whole business. Maybe then I can think to show mercy on you.” Evelyn laughed evilly.
Surprisingly, Iris laughed with her. Evelyn stopped and watched her feeling vexed up.
“You won’t get anything.” Iris spoke between her laugh which irked Evelyn.
She stride towards Iris and kicked her in the stomach making her bend in pain.
“How dare you!” She was about to kick again but Iris rolled to her side.
It resulted in Evelyn hitting her leg on the wall. She screamed in pain as she sat on the floor nursing her foot.
Iris laughed again at her state and felt her muscles ache with the movement.
“You should learn to respect me when it is you who needs my help and not the other way round. You can kill me and I won’t help unless you treat me like a business partner and not some f*****g shit.” Iris yelled at her.
Evelyn wanted to slit her throat watching her unfazed even in this condition. She barked for someone as one of the sturdy looking men came inside and helped her get up.
“I am giving you a day to think about it or prepare for you—”
“Death? I have already told you my answer. Better kill me than waste your time.” Iris replied nonchalantly.
Evelyn stared at her furiously. How could she?
She huffed and left leaning on the bodyguard.
She was challenged and she hated every bit of it. Surely she looked like Iris but she was dangerous. She didn’t fear her death and that was a piece of bad news. How could she use her when she isn't afraid of losing her life?

Aiden had been trying his best to find her but failed. It’s been more than 20 hours and he was growing concerned with passing seconds. Derek barged into his room with his hands in the pocket.
“Where is she?” he demanded only then glancing at Aiden’s anxious face which turned sour at the sight of him.
“Why do you care?” Aiden asked annoyingly.
“Why do I care? Seriously Aiden…? I thought you knew it before I was even aware of it myself.” Derek replied in a matter-of-factly.
“What?” Aiden stared at him sceptically.
“Don’t pretend man. You knew everything. You know the f*****g reason why I care because I loved Iris and I will make sure Sunny will be mine.” Derek yelled at him.
Aiden’s eyes widened. He was aware of it long back but he wanted to believe it as his doubt. Hearing him say it out loud only made Aiden feel as if someone punched him in the guts; it affected him. What worried him more was his determination.
Being well aware that Derek gets what he wants, he couldn’t believe he heard the right thing. He has to put an end to this before it is too late.
“She… She got kidnapped.” Aiden felt like a failure.
“What the f**k? Are you sure?” Derek couldn’t believe him.
Only once he asked his bodyguard to leave her alone knowing she was with Aiden and he would protect her; or atleast that’s what he thought of but he was wrong.
Maybe Aiden doesn’t care much about Sunny and he wasn’t sure whether he should be glad about it or not taking the situation into consideration.
“Is this the way you protect your fiancée? I can’t believe you… You got a second chance Aiden.” Derek said with disgust.
Those words unleashed Aiden’s rage. He rushed to him and restrained himself to strangle him to death.
“Then maybe you have planned it just like the first time Derek…” He gritted through his teeth.
The disbelief on Derek’s face only made him realize who could be behind it.
“Where’s that girlfriend of yours?” Aiden interrupted Derek who closed his mouth and tilted his head as if deciphering his words.
“Do you think Evelyn is behind it?” he asked Aiden but needn’t ponder about it.
Definitely it could be her!
Derek rushed and Aiden followed; if this demands them to work together, so it be.

Evelyn had decided to deal it like a businesswoman but she planned to kill Sunny after she had used her. Pleased with her plan, she demanded her bodyguard to bring Sunny inside. She waited patiently when her phone beeped.
A notification saying Aiden was within her area made her heart jump in her throat. It was weird. He never came close to her then why today?
It didn’t take her long to add the two and two together. She ran outside and barked at her bodyguard to cover Sunny’s mouth and to make sure she remains absent to others.
She managed to put up a movie on her TV and lay leisurely on the couch now taking wine glass from her maid. The doorbell ringing at the same time caused her to look towards it.
Maybe she can use this opportunity to seduce him.
She smirked to herself when the maid informed her of her guests which she wasn’t surprised to hear about unless she saw it.
Her smile faded to see a domineering Derek taking quick strides towards her. The disapproval on his face was enough to scare the wits out of her. With trembling hands, she gulped her wine loudly as she faced him and faked a smile.
“Darling, what a pleasant surprise?” she stood on her wobbly legs.
“Cut it short and tell me where have you hidden her?” Derek asked casually.
Evelyn looked surprised. Surely she wasn’t expecting to see Derek come by himself. Does that mean he already liked her?
She could feel anger replacing her anxiety.
“Sorry but whom are we talking about?” She asked staring at both the men.
It could have fooled anyone but not them. Derek gave her a lousy look eyeing the wine.
“I hope you haven’t decided to waste my time knowing what I am capable to do Eve.” He said in a cold voice which sounded sexy but scary at the same time.
“I don’t really have an idea about whatever it is. Still if you think I am lying then feel free yourself to have a look at whoever you are searching for.” Evelyn gaped at them.
Aiden had had enough of it, he was about to put this lady in her place but Derek held him back. He c****d his head towards Derek like ‘are you insane?’ to which Derek smiled.
“That sounds fair.” Derek seemed to be convinced with her and she eased up.
He phished out his phone and it wasn’t long when twenty men walked inside the house. Evelyn’s eyes bulged out. It could prove fatal if she doesn’t give up but now that would be even worse. She could only pray and trust her bodyguard.
Derek instructed them to turn the whole place upside down and find Sunny.
He walked and adjusted himself on the couch as Aiden did the same. It seemed to have been forever when Aiden started growing restless. The men came with their head lowered and Derek felt angry. He wasn’t sure why?
Aiden couldn’t believe it. He was sure it was her who is behind Sunny’s kidnapping and he wasn’t going to just waste his time like this. He marched upstairs shouting for her name. Searching everywhere and everything, he was about to give up when he heard a faint thud sound. He waited but couldn’t hear it again.
Irritatingly, he turned around and was about to leave when he heard some shuffling. He knocked on every wall trying hard to find some secret way. He knocked every bit and after sometime, he heard a hollow sound as his heart sped with it. He looked all around but didn’t find a way.
He knocked again when the sound followed by another thud and another. His heart anticipated with it as he called out her name.
“Sunny… is that you? Give me a sign again.” He pressed his ear to the wall waiting for some response but there wasn’t any sound from the other end.
His hopes shattering.
“Aiden! What are you doing here?” Evelyn grew exasperated seeing him close to this wall.
The way he had his ears pressed to it only made her wonder if he knew.
“What is behind this wall?” he asked sternly.
She fidgeted and Aiden could see the wheels of her brain turning in process. He was still waiting for some response.
“Uh… Nothing. Why do you ask?” She asked innocently.
“I want to see what’s behind it.” With the determination, he knocked again and missed the shuffling that occurred with it.
He peeled out the wallpaper and saw a wooden door. Derek has joined them as Aiden started pushing at the wall. It slid and it was now he saw a magnetic button at the end. He pressed it and watched the wall slid side-wards.
Evelyn tensed knowing it was now time.
Aiden looked at Derek and rushed inside to only find the room empty. He couldn’t believe it. He was sure he heard some sounds as he frantically looked around. Derek was sure Aiden couldn’t have mistaken. From the body language of Evelyn he was sure they are close to whatever was inside this and hopefully it should be Sunny.
He nodded at Aiden who needn’t ask for what. Aiden shouted for Sunny as they strained their ears to hear anything in response. Evelyn took this opportunity to create noise now and then to muffle up whatever they might pick up.
Annoyed beyond reason, Derek leaped on her and pinned her to the wall before twisting her arm in a painful way. She groaned in pain as he whispered in her ear.
“Pray that she is alive and safe and not at your place or else you know the consequences.” He pushed her off and left.
Aiden followed him deciding to look for the blueprints of her house.

Iris could hear them leave as she tried her best to produce any sound from her legs but she was picked up in the bodyguard’s arm in bridal style and she writhed in his arms feeling helpless as she heard silence fell on the other side.
